Short Answer
1.) European and Native American interaction created many benefits and drawbacks. The Colombian Exchange spread different crops and animals to create a more balanced diet for both Europeans and Native Americans, but it also spread diseases, which obliterated Native American populations because they had no built up immunity to the disease. Conflict between the two caused nothing but drawbacks; all it did was kill Europeans and Native Americans. Different cultural encounters benefited and drew back the relationship between the Native Americans and Europeans. The Native Americans showed the Europeans how to plant and live off the land in America, which kept them alive, but the Europeans also exploited the Native Americans by doing extremely unfair trades with them, just because they were willing to do them.
2.) As the English colonies approached the revolution people took sides with either the Patriots, the Loyalists, or stayed neutral. The Patriots believed that the colonies should separate from England because they were being treated unfairly. England was imposing taxes on the colonists, when they would not allow the colonists to have any representation in British Parliament. The Loyalists wanted to avoid war completely. The Loyalists thought the taxes were completely fair because the colonists were being taxed less than the people in England had to pay, the taxes were also being imposed because the English needed retribution from the money they spent protecting the colonies in the French and Indian war. The neutrals stayed in the middle, and didn't know whether or not there should be war or revolution.
3.) There were many different social, political, and economic causes that led up to the Civil War. One social cause was the issue of slavery. The South thought that slavery should be used, well the North opposed it. Things like the Missouri Compromise started to divide the states into two groups, that would eventually turn into the Union and Confederacy. A political cause of the Civil War was the southern states seceding from the Union. The North went to war to try and protect the federal Union from being destroyed. If the southern states didn't secede, there would have been now war at all. An economic cause of the war also had to do with slavery. The South relied on slavery for there economy because they were completely agricultural based, when the North didn't need it because they were primarily factory based. Without slavery the South's economy would either go through major changes or crumble.
